Rules

Play Fair. Roleplay Seriously.

General Conduct

  • Respect other players and staff. Harassment, hate speech, targeted abuse, and disruptive behavior are not allowed.
  • Use common sense and protect the quality of roleplay for everyone involved.
  • Follow staff instructions during active moderation situations.

RDM and VDM

  • Random Deathmatch (RDM) is attacking or killing another player without valid roleplay initiation or reason.
  • Vehicle Deathmatch (VDM) is intentionally using a vehicle as a weapon without valid roleplay justification.

Metagaming

Do not use information your character could not reasonably know in-game, including streams, Discord conversations, or out-of-character messages.

Powergaming

Do not force unrealistic actions or outcomes on other players. Give others a fair opportunity to respond and roleplay.

New Life Rule

After your character dies and respawns, do not immediately return to the same scene for revenge or use information your character should no longer remember.

Combat Logging

Do not disconnect to avoid an active roleplay situation, arrest, medical scene, staff interaction, or consequence.

Character and Scene Quality

Keep characters believable, value your character life, and avoid intentionally ruining serious scenes.

Whitelist

Whitelist answers must be your own work. Read the rules before applying and answer the quiz honestly.

These are rules unique to NERP:

Village Rule (No "He's from my gaun.")

Server language requirement (NEPALI).

Progressive Roleplay philosophy.

4-Man Rule

Hostage must be uninvolved:

A hostage must be a legitimate uninvolved civilian.

The following cannot be used as hostages:

Friends Gang members Members of your criminal group Police negotiators Anyone who already knows the robbery plan

A hostage should have no prior involvement in the planned criminal activity.

Must begin the robbery within 15 minutes.

Store/Bank player/Police limits

Different criminal activities have different participation limits.

Store Robbery / House Robbery / Illegal Selling

Criminals

Minimum: 2 Players Maximum: 2 Players Maximum: 1 backup vehicle

Police

Maximum: 4 Officers Maximum: 3 Police Vehicles

No police helicopter.

Sano Bank / Pokhara Bank / Vangelico / Code Red

Criminals

Maximum: 4 Players Maximum: 2 backup vehicles

Police

Maximum: 6 Officers

Kathmandu Bank has separate requirements will be announced by Management.

Robbery daily limits:

Each robbery may only be completed a limited number of times per server day.

Store Robbery — 2 Sano Bank — 2 Pokhara Bank — 2 Vangelico — 2 Kathmandu Bank — 1

Players must also respect any in-game cooldowns before repeating a robbery.

VIP Equipment rules:

Boosting Tablets

Civilian players may not loot VIP Boosting Tablets.

Police may temporarily seize a tablet during an investigation for up to 7 days, after which it must be returned unless permanent seizure is justified.

VIP Weapons

Weapons purchased through the VIP Shop may be permanently seized during criminal investigations.

Buying VIP equipment does not exempt a player from server rules.

Police Equipment loot restrictions:

Following a valid Code Red, civilians may only take:

Standard Police Pistol Standard Pistol Ammunition Standard Body Armour

Players may not take:

Rifles Tasers Flashlights Radios Handcuffs Medical equipment Any other government-issued equipment

Players also may not hide, transfer, or store restricted government equipment.

Boosting delivery rules

When completing a boosting contract, the stolen vehicle may not be delivered while:

Police have visual contact. Police are actively pursuing you. Officers are actively tracking your location.

You must first successfully lose police before completing the delivery.

The Four-Man Rule also applies to boosting.

No EDM/VIP primary getaway vehicle

PD/Bir Hospital custody ends scenario:

(No prisoner rescues) Once a suspect has been: Successfully handcuffed, and Delivered to Bir Hospital or NEPD,

the active criminal scenario is considered officially concluded.

Players may not restart or continue that scenario unless a completely new roleplay begins.

Prison transport rules:

Prison transport roleplay is only permitted:

After a prisoner leaves the Police Department. Before the prisoner enters Hanuman Dhoka Prison.

Once the prisoner reaches the prison, the scenario officially ends.

All criminal participation limits still apply.

EMS response must be waited for (8 minutes):

If EMS are on duty, players must request medical assistance before transporting injured players themselves.

Self-transport is only allowed when:

No EMS respond within 8 minutes, or No EMS are currently on duty.

ICU minimum 24 hours:

If a player voluntarily enters ICU, their character must remain there for a minimum of 24 hours.

The character may only leave after being cleared by a qualified EMS member.

While in ICU, the character is unavailable for normal roleplay.
